As required, the Finance/Procurement Department submits requests for award to the Commission; requests for approval to enter into contracts and agreements as the result of bid solicitations; and to piggyback governmental contracts.  Options to extend or renew are noted in the “Agenda Request Item” presented to Commission as part of the initial approval process.  Procurement seeks to provide an accurate and efficient method to keep the Commission informed of pending renewals and the anticipated expenditure by reducing the paperwork of processing each renewal and/or extension individually and summarizing the information in a monthly report (as required). 

This renewal report will be used for those bids, contracts/agreements and piggy-backs that are renewed/extended with the same terms and conditions and pricing as the initial award. 

Funds have been budgeted under line items as noted on the attached report.
