REQUESTED ACTION BY COMMISSION: PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO. R16-090 - Accept deeds from the CRA; declare and formally accept the additional right of way and utility easements for the infrastructure improvements associated with the Model Block project along NW 10th Avenue (West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) and NW 11th Avenue.

EXPLANATION OF REQUEST: The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) purchased 137 NW 10th Avenue (W. MLK Jr. Blvd), 117 NW 10th Avenue (W. MLK Jr. Blvd), Lot 23 Blk 1 - NW 10th Avenue (W. MLK Jr. Blvd), and 146 NW 11th Avenue as part of their land acquisition efforts for the Model Block Project.
In order to construct the infrastructure improvements associated with the Model Block Project it is necessary to dedicate ten feet of additional right of way and a ten foot utility easement for the proposed improvements along NW 10th Avenue and twenty feet of additional right of way and a ten foot utility easement for the proposed improvements along NW 11th Avenue. |
