| EXPLANATION OF REQUEST: At the request of the City Commission an Ordinance which mirrors the Ordinance adopted by the City of West Palm Beach.
The purpose of the ordinance is to protect vulnerable youth from a discredited practice known as conversion therapy which is premised on the erroneous assumption that gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender identities are mental disorders that can be cured through aversion treatment.
